HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO MY MOTHER, WHOM I THINK IS THE BEST MOTHER IN THE WORLD AND TO EVERY OTHER MOTHER THAT ALLOWS US TO BE WHO WE ARE. THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO CELEBRATE THIS DAY IN YOUR HONOR.

Today, I play for my mother as we take on Boston in LA at the Home Depot Center at 1pm. Boston handed us our first loss of the season so it will be a great game. The game will feature two of the world’s best players in Marta (who plays for my team) and Kelly Smith is plays for Boston Breakers. For those of you who remember back in the WUSA days, I did play for Boston for all three years of the league so playing against old friends is always exciting. Last weekend Kristine Lilly and Kelly Smith both scored. I have a lot of respect for both those players and their franchise but I am really looking forward to ther rematch. It really will be a great game. I am excited to be back playing at home again and more importantly I am excited to have a good game for my mom because she truly is my biggest fan.
