So the time is here once again. This will be one of the most exciting journeys in our lives.

I have been blessed enough where this will be my third World Cup but the anticipation I have feels like it will be my first. I cannot express in words the honor I feel to be representing my country on such a stage but I hope by the end of our journey in China you will understand better through my entries.

Our voyage will begin when we head off to Japan, leaving Vancouver at quite an early time. We will play in Tokyo and from there head off to Singapore for some time together as a team and our final training sessions.

We are all looking forward to the end of this year’s expedition with high hopes of success. Brazil was a disappointment for us all even though we walked away with the bronze medal Since then we’ve had an amazing break, which allowed us all to come back with the passion, love and energy we had for the sport.
