After enjoying the past couple weeks at home with training sessions and more testing we took off again to New Zealand. The trip went well, much shorter than the trip to China and everyone is in great spirits.

We got to spend the day in San Francisco where we walked around, rode the trolley’s and enjoyed delicious food. We then boarded the plane that evening on the 28th and arrived early morning on the 30th…where did Tuesday go????

So far very beautiful and I’m looking forward to the rest of the trip and our two games against New Zealand. Pictures and updates to come…

Hello in from the Jinling Hotel in Nanjing China (home of one of the sites for the 2008 Olympics).

It has been a long trip here; we arrived after 52 hours and 7 minutes of travel. This is not an exaggeration as we started the watches from the moment we boarded the bus in Mobile, Alabama to here.

We can now laugh about it, and because of the delirious state we were in, we enjoyed some chuckles throughout. Let me give you a breakdown of our travels:

• 4 hour bus ride from Mobile Alabama to Birmingham.

• At 3:15 am arrived to our hotel which was a nice tease at it was the very nice Wynfrey Hotel where we showered and cleaned up as we departed for the airport 45 minutes later. Read the rest of this entry »
